The conditions were very hot and humid and the players managed them so well. There was a short delay as a thunderstorm passed over bringing torrential rain when the teams were on holes 16/17 and this has meant that the later teams have not yet finished their rounds.
Annabell and Nicolas started with a bogey on the first hole which was quickly forgotten as they complemented each other very well in the better ball format and finished with a 64 (-6).
Both Lily May and Baard played very solid golf from tee to green and had 3 birdies and 15 pars between them. They gave themselves plenty of opportunities but the putts did not drop today.
Team Europe are looking forward to the foursomes format tomorrow morning !
