The 2024 European Ladies' Amateur Championship is underway in Finland.
144 players from 31 different countries will tee off in the first of four rounds today at Messilä Golf.
The highest ranked players in the field tee off early in the opening round, including three former champions. Last year's winner, Julia Lopez Ramirez (ESP), the 2022 champion, Savannah De Bock (BEL), and 2020 winner, Paula Schulz-Hanssen (GER), started their bids for a second European title at 07:44 local time.
