History
The European Senior Men’s Championship is an annual golf tournament for male amateur players aged 50 and over, first held in 1996. Organised by the EGA, it takes place alongside the European Senior Ladies’ Championship at various European venues each June. The event consists of three rounds of stroke play, with medals awarded to the top three finishers and a special prize for the best player over 60. A nations' cup was part of the event until 2005.
