Furesø Golf Club
Furesø Golf Club is one of North Zealand's best and most beautiful golf courses in charming and peaceful surroundings. The golf course consists of 27 holes in a medium-hilly landscape, where a couple of the holes have been nominated as some of Denmark's best par 3 and par 4 holes.
Exciting and varied course
The course is divided into three exciting loops that offer varied holes and where the game is challenged by many lakes, trees, bunkers, and dog-leg holes, as well as an entrance to the green which is protected by challenging run-off areas. The greens are good, fast and relatively hilly and slopy. The courses Hestkøbgaard and Farum will be played at the 2021 European Boys' Team Championship.
Redesigned by Mackenzie & Ebert
The oldest loop of the course is from 1974 and has over the years been expanded with two more loops. In 2015, all 27 holes were renovated by the Scottish golf course architect Tom Mackenzie from Mackenzie & Ebert with a focus on the good and exquisite golf experience with great demands on the game in the form of challenging run-off areas and bunkers around the greens.
Environmentally conscious
Furesø Golf Club makes a great effort to protect and preserve nature, which resulted in the Danish Golf Sports Environmental Award in 2014 as the first golf club in Denmark.
