Information

The Vagliano Trophy is a women’s amateur international match between Great Britain and Ireland and the Continent of Europe.

History:

The Vagliano Trophy started as a match between Great Britain and France in 1931 and was played annually until 1939 and between 1947 and 1949. It became a biennial event thereafter.

Since 1959, the match is played between Great Britain and a team representing the Continent of Europe.
