The EGA is delighted to announce two world-class venues for the 2025 European championship calendar.
The Swedish Golf Federation and Vasatorps Golfklubb will host the world's best amateur players in late June 2025 for the European Amateur Championship.
The event is consistently ranked amongst the strongest in the world for strength of field by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), and with a spot in The Open available for the winner, regularly attracts the top talent in the amateur game.
Located near Helsingborg in the south-west of Sweden, the TC course at Vasatorps GK is regularly ranked amongst the top courses in the country.
Less than one month later in late July 2025, the German Golf Federation and Frankfurter Golf Club will host the European Ladies' Amateur Championship.
Offering an exemption to the AIG Women's Open, the tournament also boasts an elite field. The club will host its fourth EGA event in two years time, having formerly hosted the European Boys' (1982), Girls' (1997) and Ladies' (2003) Team Championships.
