LIST OF REMINDERS TO PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES

Please meet the following deadlines no later than the indicated date.

16 April              
Last day to enter (17:00 CET) on http://www.ega-golf.ch/entry-forms (password required).

11 May                
Last day to make Hotel reservations, see accommodation.

1 June                 
Last day to pay the Team Fee, see additional information – Team Fee.

13 June               
Last day to send details about arrival and departure, see transportation.

28 June

TRANSPORTATION

Players and national coaches flying to Sweden are advised to book their flights to Göteborg (Gothenburg) Landvetter Airport as it will be the only airport from/to where transportation will be provided (included in the team fee). Teams travelling to any other airport must organize their own transportation.

Shuttle service:
The organisers will provide transportation free of charge between the official hotel and the golf course.

ACCOMMODATION 

The official hotel Säröhus is situated 20 minutes by car/shuttle from Forsgården Golf Club.

Single rooms will be SEK 900/night and double rooms will be SEK 1390/night (1 EUR = approximately 9,5 SEK).

Säröhus is a wonderful hotel situated just by the sea with a great view.

Reservations
Rooms have been prebooked at Säröhus for all participating teams. Please make your reservation as soon as possible but no later than 11 May to make sure there are rooms available. All rooms include a full breakfast and prices include VAT.

4. Use the calendar on the left to select your check-in and check-out dates, number of rooms and persons and number of nights you wish to stay and click “Search”
5. Make your choice and click “Select”

You will be asked to state your credit card number when you make your online-reservation but that will only be to secure you booking and your credit card will not be charged until you arrive at Säröhus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Anti-Doping:
All players are subject to the provisions of the International Golf Federation´s Anti-Doping policy www.internationalgolffederation.org. Any players who are taking medication and in doubt as to their clinical status should seek advice from the EGA Office not later than 30 days before the start of the championship.

Caddies:
No caddies are permitted except for fellow team members (Conditions of Competition).

Course Guide:
The course guide of Forsgården will be included in your tournament package.

Electrical adaptors:
Please note that you may need electrical plug adaptors during your stay in Sweden.

Entries:
Entries and Entry-fee payment (1500.-CHF) must be made via the EGA website:

Closing date for entries: Monday 16 April at 17.00 hrs.

Golf Bags:
Storage room for golf bags is not provided

Golf Shop:
A well-stocked golf shop with clothing and other golf equipment is available.

Helpdesk:
Will be located in the Club house.

Local Rules and Conditions off Competition
At registration, each team will receive the Local Rules and Conditions of Competition. Any additional Local Rule or Condition of Competition will be provided to players at the latest by the starter before any stipulated round.

Lockers:
Each team will be allocated three lockers in the locker room.

Medical Service:
Medical service will be provided during the whole championship

Metal spikes:
Please note that shoes with metal spikes are not allowed at Forsgården.

Official Notice Board:
Will be situated next to the helpdesk and will be used for official information to teams and others. Information will also be available at the official hotel.

Players´ Lounge:
There will be a players´ lounge with internet access in the Clubhouses’ first floor.

Practice round:
Practice rounds will be 8 and 9 July. The starting times will be based on the EGA official draw for practice rounds and will be communicated well in advance on the website.

Press Office:
There will be a press office in the clubhouse with necessary equipment.

Registration:
Teams are requested to register on 7 July at Säröhus upon arrival or at Forsgården Golf Club on 8 July (for teams not staying at Säröhus). All details concerning the championship will be provided upon registration.

Restaurants:
Restaurant facilities are available at the Club House. For players who have special requests, food allergies, are vegetarians etc., please notify the staff at the helpdesk upon registration.

Wi-Fi:
Free Wifi is available in the club house and at the hotel.

Trolleys:
There will be push trolleys available.

Team Fee
Each participating team is required to pay a team fee of EUR 1500 (not to be confused with the EGA entry fee). The team fee will help covering the following costs: maintenance of the club house locker rooms, practice balls for the week, trolleys, transportation of teams between airport and hotel, transportation of teams between hotel and golf club, social events, Farewell Dinner, greenkeeping team and more. The team fee of EUR 1500 is for seven persons (six players and a captain). The cost for additional persons is EUR 250 per person.

For payment please make a deposit to Forsgården no later than 1 June. Nominal deposit with the team name.

Team Photo
A Team photo session is scheduled on Monday 9 July at the golf club. The timetable will be received upon registration. Dress code is the official Team dress.
